Unless otherwise noted, all Alan Gaillard serving dishes, platters, plates and casseroles are oven proof with care. However, shock treatment such as pouring cold water into an oven-hot dish, or placing cold dishes close to a hot grill must be avoided (keep a minimum of 100 mm (4”) away from any direct grill or flame). Also do not place ceramics directly on ANY open flame or cast-iron stove although this may be possible with proprietary heat-proof mats designed for such protection.
